Cover Story is an innovative startup. Its plastic-free paints and renewed direct to consumers experience are breaking the conventions of the paint industry. Cover Story wanted to set sustainability as a strategic driver in the brand launch phase and chose Hovi Creative as its partner.

the Process

We started our collaboration with an inclusive sustainability strategy to define Cover Story's sustainability vision, mission and goals for 2020-2025 by using service design methods.

In addition, we defined sustainability targets based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We also designed a sustainability manual that summarizes the direction of sustainability work and guides development.

the Results

Hovi Creative facilitated Cover Story a sustainability strategy for 2020-2025. Together, we also defined sustainability goals based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Thanks to the set sustainability goals, Cover Story can implement and plan its sustainability operations in the long term.

Based on a clear responsibility manual, Cover Story can also present its responsibility strategy to its partners. The responsibility manual also serves as a guide to the responsibility section of the website.

We wanted to set sustainability to the centre of our brand and customer experience right from the start. In cooperation with Karoliina, we selected relevant priorities for our current sustainability communication and created a strong foundation for future sustainability work.

Our slogan “Surround Yourself with Good” includes a promise of integrated sustainability. The cooperation with Karolina went smoothly. We succeeded in concretizing our commitment to sustainability and setting clear goals for the coming years.
